Who We Are
A registered 501(c)(3) public charity committed to community, accountability, and the people we serve.
Family Staff Organization is an independent nonprofit governed by volunteer officers and community members. Our mission is to strengthen the bond between families and staff through programs that support education, wellness, and civic engagement.
We organize fundraisers, community events, and volunteer initiatives funded entirely by donations and led by people who believe in giving back. Our work is guided by transparency, fiscal responsibility, and a commitment to the communities we serve.
The IRS determined our organization is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) as a public charity (IRC 170(b)(1)(A)(vi)). Our tax-exempt status was reinstated effective November 15, 2023 under Revenue Procedure 2014-11.
Donations to Family Staff Organization may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We file annual information returns with the IRS as required for organizations of our size.
